You should have reported this email as phishing/spam (red outlook button). Did you expect this email? Think before you clinck
Security guidelines to follow for your attention (looks like you need it):
- Check sender email address, not only the "display name". Display name can be easily changed/spoofed.
- Check for poor language, spelling errors, unusual spaces, sentences not ending with period, email with sense of urgency or account restrictions to take action etc.
- Validate the real address in the link by hovering with your mouse over it before clicking.
- Browse safe & smart. Stay on well-known sites and avoid visiting poor reputation sites (illegal software or gambling, pornography etc.).
- Emails requiring your credentials outside Okta are potentially malicious so triple check before you proceed.
- Your password should be hard to guess. Use 12 characters of alphanumeric and symbols password combination.
- Your computer, your responsibility. Don't leave your luggage unattended. Lost/stolen device must be reported immediately to IT.
- Data you create, access, consume, or modify is also under your responsibility. Do not share with unauthorized members without approval. Keep it secret, keep it safe.
- Software you download and use must go through IT and Information Security approvals. There are potential security & legal implications for unauthorized software use.
- Noticed something suspicious, report it immediately using the below reach us options.
